Through yoga Nancy-Kate has found a passion to live life to the fullest, embracing the wholeness of our experience and she wants share that with others. Her enchantment for teaching yoga shines in her ability to hold space for students to go inside and create personal transformation in a fun, loving & supportive environment. In her classes she focuses on integrity of alignment and intention in every moment with sequencing that is thoughtful & deliberate. Through sustainable alignment, she challenges students to seek balance and create deeper awareness through each posture. She believes less is more, and delights in the foundations of the practice. Nancy-Kate trusts that it is through this precise way of practicing that we create the awareness to learn about our bodies, our selves and how we relate to the world...deepening all the connections in our lives.
Many teachers have inspired Nancy-Kate along her path, but her most influential teachers are Nicki Doane & Eddie Modestini. Nancy-Kate has co-directed teaching training programs, taughtat festivals such as Wanderlust, hostedinternational retreats and has been featured on the cover of Yoga Journal magazine. She believes in all things there is a teacher and strives to inspire others to seek the teacher within.
Nancy-Kate currently lives here in Grand Junction with her husband and two French bulldogs. She loves snowshoeing on the Grand Mesa in the Winter, kayaking on the river in the summer and hiking in all the amazing landscapes that this valley has to offer. You can find her teaching a few workshops locally and special events throughout the year.
